All the cliches about karate improving your child's confidence, focus, strength, self-esteem.... they are all true of my daughter because she is part of Focus Martial Arts. She started rather late (12) and felt awkward and out-of-place before she started taking karate. 4 years later she is confident, strong, and ready to face the world with renewed vigor. The teachers, the curriculum, the facilities are all top of the line. Focus is the real deal. I cannot say enough good things about them. I have a fit, funny, and respectful 16 year old who is happy every day. Can you say that about your teenager?

Focus Martial Aarts is a world-class dojo, training athletes of all ages to compete at the appropriate levels of experience. Children and younger athletes are the primary focus here, although athletes of any age are welcome and catered to. Focus has produced numerous National and several World Champions, and their training programs, instructors and pursuit of excellence in all they do is second to none. My children have been training at Focus for 5 yrs and the confidence that they have earned is priceless! The caring instructors with their motivation and experience is more than I could have asked for. I have watched them working with the special needs children and I am in awe. There is SO much to say about Focus, I could go on forever. I always suggest them to everyone I come in contact with. Definately a place to check out!

I have trained at Focus for over 10 years. Their fitness programs are fun, motivating and each class is different. I also take the Karate and self defense classes and enjoy the variety of programs available, from the beginner level all the way to world class competition skill levels. Great pricing and no contracts here like other martial arts places!

The instruction at Focus went beyond martial arts discipline. My child stayed with the program through black belt and is now in high school. The training kids receive at Focus give them the mental toughness they need to make the right life choices around their peers, and the self confidence to step out of their comfort zone to achieve their goals in life. My son went from a shy, physically awkward and bullied child, to a confident teen that gets "A"'s in gym. This will not happen overnight or in 10 easy lessons. It's a journey and every step is worth the results!
