I have taken my dog Buddy to Dr. Wheaton for 6 years now and we never had any sort of problem with Buddy's health until 1 month ago. He suffered a massive heat stroke and almost died. They kept him overnight and monitored him closely. He was well enough to come home, but we were unsure of the direction he would take over the next 48 hours. Dr. Wheaton and his staff were amazing for those few days. They checked in often and were available when we needed them for questions or clarifications on how to take care of Buddy. Slowly, but surely, he recovered. We decided to go forward with a surgery to correct a breathing issue Buddy had which cause his stroke and had a surgeon do the procedure that Dr. Wheaton recommended. Buddy's life has changed for the better. He can breathe better, seems more comfortable and is slowly getting his strength back. I cannot tell how you how professional, kind and caring Dr. Wheaton and his entire staff were throughout this month long ordeal. I give my highest recommendation for Alicia Pet Care Center. Transfer your pet's records and get over to Dr. Wheaton for the kind of care your pet deserves. He and his staff are excellent.

Running a non-profit dog rescue means needing to find the most knowledgeable vet team with a sound background in shelter disease and with a heart of gold to deal with the many issues that rescue dogs present with! Thankfully, we found Dr. Wheaton and his staff and have not looked back. When it comes to compassion, knowledge and expertise....there is no comparison. We have had over 100 animals treated by Dr. Wheaton and his team and continue to refer our adopters to him. We can not say enough great things about this practice.

We have taken our dog Rocky to see Dr. Wheaton for over 5 years. His staff is always very helpful and we have had nothing but great experiences when we have to visit. It its clear that they have nothing but Rocky's best interest in mind, and I really appreciate all the advice that Dr Wheaton has given to help us keep our little buddy healthy. Highly recommended.

Dr Wheaton and staff has been treating our Kylie since we moved out to Orange County in Nov 2003. From the front staff, to the nurses and doctors, you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The new facility is HUGE and is state of the art. We recently got a puppy, Dexi, who is now also under the care of Alicia Pet Care Center.



Oh yea...they also have a great boarding facility that we have used when we go out of town.

DR WHEATON AND EVERYONE AT APCC ROCKS! I own a mobile grooming business and would not recommend my clients to APCC if I did not trust them 100%. I have taken my own baby there for over 7 years now and she is excellent health (although her age is catching up to her I think). The clients that have taken my advice had nothing but the nicest things to say, and many of them are now regular clients of Dr Wheaton's. Aside from being a great vet clinic, you can really tell they care about animals with their animal rescue that they also have. Highly recommended, I would give them more stars if I could.

I love this place, so much so I drive all the way from San Clemente just to take my dogs there! Their new sate-of-the-art facility is beautiful, their staff is so friendly and knowledgable and they always greet my dogs by name. Dr. Wheaton, a second-generation veterinarian, is amazing! He's patient, takes his time and has worked wonders on my cocker spaniels' allergy/behavioral issues. I'm confident my dogs are receiving the best possible care at Alicia Pet Care Center and would highly recommend taking your pets there.

Alicia Pet Care Center has wonderful doctors and a staff to match. Their facility is beautiful but what really matters most is that the entire staff seemed to really care about me and my pet. I adopted my cat Lou from their Pet Rescue Center about a year and a half ago and every time I've been in since, it feels like a family reunion. I would highly recommend Alicia Pet Care Center to anyone that is looking for an amazing vet that really cares about their pet.

Both Dr. Wheaton and Dr. Forman have seen my dog Red. Red can be quite a handful when it comes to the vet, but both the doctors and nurses seemed to handle him with a great deal of patience and gentleness.Their entire staff loves animals and will go to great lengths to see that they are cared for in a way that makes you and your pet feel like family. I am so thankful that Alicia Pet Care Center takes such great care of my special little guy!

Dr. Wheaton and his team reached out and helped me when I found a dog that was in dire need of surgery. I found the dog dirty, emaciated, abused, shut-down, and with her eye hanging out, and damage to her jaw. He performed surgery on my dog for free until I could solicit enough donations to pay for it.



All of the staff at the Alicia Pet Care Center are AMAZING!!! I wouldn't leave my animals anywhere else. Precious Life is now a part of my family, and loves cats! Thanks to the Alicia Pet Care Center for saving my dog's life! This was the only vet in the entire state of California that I could find to do the surgery pro-bono until I could raise the funds. They don't just claim to love animals, they really show it!

I have two cats as well as just worked with rescuing a pregnant cat who shortly after gave birth to 6 kittens.



Dr. Wheaton and his staff have been more than helpful in getting and keeping everyone healthy. His front office staff are always friendly and go out of their way to ensure your comfortable and have what you need.



Dr. Wheaton and Hawkins are both very knowledgable and arent afraid to share that knowledge. They understand the rest of us arent vets, so their patience and ability to communicate issues to pet owners is the bext I have experienced.



I would (and have) highly recommend alicia pet clinic for any pet owner.

Dr. Wheaton's staff is exactly what you would want for your pet: a bunch of animal lovers dressed in scrubs taking the absolute best care of your dog or cat. I have been bringing my cat to them for years. When I moved away and had to go to a different vet, it was a crushing blow. Thanks goodness I was able to move back to the area and reunite with this amazing clinic.

Had a 16 year old cat that was suffering of an incurable cancer. The staff and Dr.'s did what they could to relieve her pain until the end. APC did great work with our cat, and out other animals with gentle, caring, treatment.

Dr. Wheaton is wonderful! We have been bringing our animals here for years and would never dream of ever trustung anyone else with them. I tell all my friends about this hospital!

Dr. Wheaton and his staff have cared for our pets for the past 5 years. They are friendly, caring and professional. The lives of my pets have been saved many times through their thorough and comprehensive treatments. I recommend them highly.
