Absolutely horrible customer service!! Cannot distinguish between real and not gold. The lady that verifies the authenticity arrogance is absolutely shameful!!!!’ Please take your items to Indianapolis or a larger city

The sales staff at Vierk's was the most knowledgable I have found in the area and they went above and beyond to help satisfy my needs! First rate customer service like this is seldom seen anymore. And to top it off, their prices were even better than hoped for. I love the store atmosphere too. I will certainly be back!

There haven't been any reviews in a while and I just did business with Vierk's this month, so I thought I would give them a review. First of all, they have remodeled the ENTIRE store. It is BEAUTIFUL! It definitely looks like a high-end, classy, store now. My husband and I had our rings custom made from Kent, the head jeweler, in August 2009 and we LOVE our rings. I have bought several items from them, including a necklace, two other rings, and a bracelet. I could NEVER have purchased these items elsewhere for what I spent and am very pleased with the quality. I have also done business with them in pawning and buying my items from me. I shopped around and TRUST ME, Vierk's pays the most for any type of item. I recently had all of my jewelry, cleaned, polished and flashed and my pieces look BRAND NEW. I will, and do, recommend Vierk's to ALL my friends and family! Keep up the GREAT customer service!

Rude Service, Overpriced

I inquired about a quote on resetting a diamond into a new setting I just purchased from a company online. I promptly drove to Vierk's to get a quote on the resetting. Upon walking in I found the employees hugging and flirting with each other and laughing and carrying on, it took them a few minutes to see what I needed and upon inspecting my custom setting they told me that I was wrong about my diamond's size that my diamond would not fit because the setting was too large, and gave me a larger quote than what I recieved from the store through email. I am extremely dissatisfied with Vierk's and I am afraid to say that I went through Ramz's Jewelry Exchange instead, as they allowed me to trade my old setting for the cost of resetting the diamond, and took the time to actually listen to what I had to say about what I wanted done with the setting. As it also turns out, I wasn't incorrect about ANYTHING with my ring. To get the best deal and service you need to shop around and if the employees aren't accommodating imagine how the service will be.

We have never had anything but a pleasant experience each time we have visited Vierks. Everyone has been friendly, helpful and very knowledgable regarding our questions. We have gone elsewhere, but always come back due to the great customer service we receive! Their quality standards are EXCELLENT compared to the big name "chain stores" who just want to make a profit but not stand behind the products made in China. They have such a unique variety of items in the store, and even if you're not in the market to purchase-you are always welcome to visit and see the great items they carry-The Howard Miller clocks are beautiful!

NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO SMILE?????

When you go into the store, no one speaks? This is very poor and very unprofessional!! I'm surprised that they still have anyone buy from them!! Jeff Vierk is a very poor example to his associates as he NEVER speaks to anyone, at least when I've been in to get things repaired he has NEVER spoken to me or my wife!! I wonder if he would speak if I were to spend $1000's of his jewelry? Well, he'll never get the chance to as my wife nor I will ever return to this store. We'll go and have our things repaired elsewhere where the work is better repaired and cheaper. I mean ALL of the associates are unfriendly, amazing not one can smile, is that part of being hired? Don't be friendly, don't speak, just act like it's a chore to wait on people and take their money? I am still amazed that this store is in business!!!!!!!! I think that if they smiled any of them that is their face would crack!! SAD!!!!!!!!!!!! Even on the commercials, the Vierk's smiles are forced.

Very unfriendly sales personnel

I recently made a special trip to Lafayette to attend a function at Purdue. My son told me about Vierks and suggested that I see if they had what I needed. . I was so disappointed in the personnel, from the grey haired man sitting on the chair acting like he didn't see anyone come in the door, nor have the courtesy to look up and speak, I later learned it was the son of the owner, or anyway someone that should just immediately speak to EVERYONE that enters that business door. The rest of the personal staff was not friendly either. A lady with long red hair didn't know how to be nice when I asked her a question and I decided to do my business elsewhere. The jewelry that I was looking for I found and the personal and entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Vierk sales people you better wake up!! I will never return to your store and I'm surprised that you are still in biz, as none of you were pleasant to anyone that walked in that door. You lost at least $2000 from me

Very unfriendly sales people

When you aren't buying something from them they act like you are dirt under their feet, from the owner down to the lowest person on the totem pole. Not all of us can buy from you, sometimes we need to sell, pawn or just want to check prices out. It is a VERY expensive store anyway, but please don't make me feel like you are better than me, because NONE OF YOU ARE!!!!!!!!! I'm amazed that you are still in business with the attitude of the ENTIRE staff!!!!!!!
