Lacking the knowledge to make a good health insurance decision I was very nervious about the entire process. Fortunately, my cousin told me to check out Lee Insurance Service. What a pleasant experience. Philip explained everything in a language I could understand, and Mercedes backing him up make a great team. We ended up getting our health insurance through Lee Insurance Serice, and I could not be happier.
If you are in need of health insurance, or simply want to learn about alternative health plans, do not walk, but run to Lee Insurance.

Provided by YP.comI was dreading--dreading!!--having to research and find a health insurance plan for my family. Lucky for me, my former boss passed me Philip Lee's name and told me to give him a call. After my first conversation with Mercedes, I received tons of information and options via email. When I called with some questions I was passed to Phil, who not only answered them all but presented some options I hadn't considered. For my third call, I got Coreen, who not only re-explained stuff that Phil had already told me but advised me about even more options and then sat on the phone with me while I filled out paperwork. If she could have held my hand I bet she would have.
My application was submitted and my family approved for a health insurance plan within 14 days.
I cannot recommend Lee Insurance Services highly enough.

Provided by YP.comI've worked for Mr. Lee and never heard him say a rude word to any client. If you met him you'd see he is a kind and decent person. Notice how in dmk707's review she says, "I was a client for 5 years." She was satisfied with his services for 5 years! I've worked in customer service and sometimes a customer gets so angry when she can't get her own way that she lashes out and tries to smear the company's reputation. These type of people think, "What have you done for me lately." If you read the Lee Insurance review, he said he tried to guide her to the state insurance programs for lower income families, but she became offended. She let her ego dictate her actions, not the financial reality of her situation. I hope she learns to handle her problems in a more mature way, and I hope people continue to use Mr. Lee's services!

Provided by YP.comIn response to reviewer dmk707, I will describe what transpired during a phone conversation with her without divulging any information that is protected by HIPAA privacy regulations: Our agency assisted dmk707 in successfully securing an affordable health plan some years ago and have helped her on occasions over the years without complaint. In 2007, she was unhappy with her carrier’s last rate increase. With competitive rate information that we provided, she decided on her own to submit an online application to another insurance carrier for herself and to add her family. Her application was declined due to pre-existing conditions. In spite of our diligent efforts and our discussions with the carrier, we were unable to get the decision changed for her and her family.
As part of our service, I took the next step to explore other alternatives with her. Despite our efforts and the fact that we had no control over the decision made by the underwriter, she was upset about being declined and became irritable when I tried to offer alternative solutions. She repeatedly interrupted my sentences claiming that she could not afford them and that “We’re broke”. Since it appeared that her financial situation was her primary concern, I then suggested the various state-sponsored programs that are designed for low-income families to receive guarantee-issue coverage at reasonable cost. She took offense at this suggestion and became testy and irate.
I subsequently received an unkind voicemail left by her husband. I returned the call but was not able to reach him. In the voicemail I left, I attempted to politely explain the situation, but my call was never returned. The above are documented in our notes and in writing with the insurance carrier at the time these events occurred.
We have 20 years of experience specializing in this area and are one of the best in the industry. We go to bat for our clients and have been able to save all of our clients enormous sums of money on their health insurance. We have many satisfied clients who will attest to our high level of conscientious service. We unfortunately cannot control decisions and rules that are made by insurance carriers. We do not charge our clients any fees for our services. We do an enormous amount of work for our clients and provide invaluable advice for a small commission.
