I agree with the last reviewer about too much focus on the owners daughter. I think the choreography for th younger comp groups is still good, but the older groups are pretty much neglected. On a positive note, Nikki does work really well with the littler ones.

This studio used to provide excellent technique instruction, along with better-than-average choreography for the Olympia area. Now the focus of the studio owner/director is entirely on her daughter. She is front and center in every routine for her age group, and performs her solos at local events, when there are several other equally capable children in her age group who also could be performing solos. The child is definitely talented, but no more so than any other child her age who had the undivided attention of a studio owner/mother to work with her several hours a day. I would recommend this studio only if you don't mind your child being a back up dancer to the owner's daughter. It's also telling that I've noticed that most of the talented senior/teen dancers have left the studio to pursue other interests, leaving a very lackluster group of older dancers to represent the studio, most of whom are dancing on scholarship/charity, so they don't have any choice but to stay.

My daughter attends Center Stage Dance Academy! I love that she is learning and growing as a dancer in a positive fun environment! We feel lucky to have found Center Stage and her teacher Nikki!

My daughter has really enjoyed dancing at Center Stage. She has progressed quickly and is learning all the time. Nikki is great with the kids she makes them feel special. All the work that went into the recital was very impressive.

Center Stage by far has the best technique, best choreography and most modern teaching tech. All the instructors take the time with each child to really instruct the children in a positive way. They show them and tell them how to do different moves and work with the kids with very positve attitudes and amazing technique. I am very impressed with the ability of the staff and the students. If you are looking for Amazing instruction in a positive atmosphere Center Stage is the place for your family

Amazing Studio great dancers and teacher! The comment about the age from the other studio? Check with the owner, some of the dancers had no idea....its the owners responsiblity to have the correct information and to be HONEST

As a dad of 2 girls, it just amazes me how much my daughters enjoy it and how much they have improved in such a short time. The teachers and other students are so supportive of each other, it just makes for a very enjoyable time. Even the other parents are easy to talk to. Only one thing could be improved....the seats for viewing are not that comfortable.

Nikki and the teachers at Center Stage are Phenominal!! This is such a friendly environment. AND we win our high scores by using our real ages and not by pretending to be younger than we really are like SODA!!

I love Center Stage! It is the best studio ever, much better than Studio One Dance and Acro Centre.
