We used to love this restaurant, but had very slow service with a server who just didn't get it. They nickel and dimed everything. We decided to try again tonight after a couple of years, and our slow server from before is now the manager!
Warning! Anyway, I have severe food allergies and have to bring my own food wherever I go. I asked to borrow a can opener and they said it is a violation of health codes to take my can in their kitchen, or bring me a can opener. THEN they wouldnt even let me EAT MY OWN FOOD I brought in to the restaurant! They told me I was violating health code by bringing my own food in. I have been to at least 25 different restaurants of all price ranges who have WELCOMED me. Even Miyabi in La Verne cooks my food with the specific butter I bring in since I am allergic to sesame and soy. They are awesome!

Mi Ranchito is a HORRIBLE restaurant, and I will tell EVERYONE I can how I feel about them and tell them NOT to go there. We even had a couple come out of the restaurant we got kicked out of and told us the how they think the service stunk too.

DON’T BE FOOLED! Although this place seems normal and clean on the surface, it is actually worse than a TJ taco stand. The service is selective. If you appear to be a person of status you will be treated nicely. If you are having a lazy day and looking for some takeout look elsewhere unless you like being treated like crap. This place sucks, the food sucks and the Manager is super rude and unprofessional. She needs some lessons in etiquette and customer service.

The food does not make up for the crappy service either, believe it or not its actually worse. My friend found a fly in some soup this weekend; another friend overheard that story and said they found a big black hair in their enchilada. Yet another friend said that they found a nail in a taco. This place needs to be shut down so they can take time off to learn lessons in cleanliness and customer service.
