My first visit to see Dr ken was 100 % from when i first stepped thru the door. i have been looking for a new Vet since my Vet of 30 years had started to concentrate on up selling instead of just giving my boys their yearly shots and flea and Heart worm medicine. Dr Ken looked at my boy and treated him. he did order alot of unnecessary blood work and other tests. He seemed to know exactly what was wrong with my boys paw and he was right. One day later he is no longer limping. I look forward to making him my new Vet for my two dogs and my cat. Thank you Dr Ken.

Dr. Maggie is wonderful as is Dr. Ken and the staff at Oldham County Vet. Dr. Maggie has cared for our four legged children as if they were her own. Had we not decided to get a second opinion and seek out Dr. Maggie we truly believe that we would have lost our young lab. She treated the cause not the symptons and he is now 5 years old and a very happy healthy boy. She is caring and loving and puts our babies care first. She laughs with you, actually listens to you and cries with you on those occasions when there is nothing more that can be done. She is a gift from God. If you are looking for an angel to care for your babies, look no farther. We are moving and we will miss her terribly. We hope we can find another angel like Dr. Maggie in Florida. Don't take your babies anywhere else - take them to the Oldham County Vet.

Doc and Dr. Maggie are wonderful and loving and doing this for all the right reasons. If you are shopping for a vet for a four legged member of your family, don't look any further. I have recommended them to several people and everyone has been extremely happy and appreciative of the personal touch they give. They truly love every animal that comes to them.

Dr. Schmidt and his staff are the most caring, knowledgeable, efficient staff in a Vet's office that I have ever witnessed. When my cat, Angel, had surgery I didn't fear leaving her in their care. The surgery prolonged Angel's life, but eventually she deteriorated. Dr. Schmidt performed her surgery and when she fell ill again, Dr. Maggie cared for her. Although I never thought I could make a decision to relieve the suffering of one of my beloved animals, Dr. Maggie helped me through it and made me realize that Angel would be much better off. Being a coward, I didn't have the heart to be with Angel during her last minutes, but she was comfortable in the doctors' care and I know she was held lovingly as she was going to sleep. Thank you all.
