Established in 1916, Howard Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 200 students. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade six. It employs over 20 certified teachers and nearly five instructional assistants. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, science, language arts and technology education. Howard Elementary School offers before- and after-school programs. The school also provides the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program for drug awareness among students.
