One of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with and they completely ruined my JD mower. When I first dropped off my mower for an oil leak on the bottom part of the motor, they said it would be done in two weeks. I was thrilled. Two weeks later when I went back, they had not even started on it and it had been raining a lot and the mower was left outside with the tarp blown off. I got another tarp and put on it. next day I called and no one answered, so I left a message. Another couple weeks went by and I called again, still no answer, no return calls. This time, after about 1 ½ months, I went down there and amazingly, they still haven’t even started on my mower. I went to the owner and pointed out that they had said two weeks and that it was over 1 ½ months, I left it there. More weeks passed and finally they called me and said that it was ready. 3 months had passed and I wasn't in much of a rush to get it since the mowing season had almost come to an end, Walking up to the mower, I noticed the muffler was not attached and that there were BOLTS missing in places and two were broke off flush.. He shrugged and said I don't know about that, the mechanic is gone for today. He told me to come back tomorrow. When I got there the next day I went start it. I pulled start and it wouldn't start. I noticed that the rope was saturated in old oil. At this point, I didn't care, I just wanted to hear it run and get out of there. After several tries, I stopped and went to my truck and got starter fluid. I opened to the carburetor and noticed there was a 1/2cup of oil in the carb. The owner came out about this time and greeted me like I was a new sucker. I told him this would never start with oil in it and he said “no biggie”, we can clean the oil out of the carburetor he said. I just wanted to get it started, cut my losses and go. They cleaned it up with a cloth and I went to pull it and the rope broke. Very frustrated, I told him NOT to touch it anymore until I could get back with a new rope. I came back the following day, fixed it and started it. “IT RUNS!” I said to myself. I went inside and paid the bill. He didn’t offer any apology or compensation for all that he had put me through. I go back to my mower and thought that I had better check to make sure that everything was operating. While the mower was still running, I engaged the blades and pulled the PTO switch…NOTHING! I went back inside to confront him about my PTO . He said “how do I know it wasn't that way before you dropped it off here”? (It is important to remind you at this point…..I only brought the mower in for an oil leak.. I told him when I came here I showed the guy that everything worked when he checked it in. He said “Ha, that guy doesn't work here anymore!” PLEASE!! DO NOT GO TO THESE CON SWINDLERS. This place is a disgrace to the profession.
