I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. We bought our mobile home from them just 6 months ago and the roof is leaking and our ceiling is caving in from all of the water and is about to fall through, When the "maintenance man" came to "look" at it to make sure it actually was a leak, insinuating that we can't tell that its a leak ourselves. He poked 2 holes in the ceiling with his finger. A t that time i thought "Great now what if it rains again? It is going to drip into the carpet." He told me that someone would be by first thing the next morning to come and fix the roof to "try to see if we can get the water to stop leaking in" I asked, "What if it's not reparable?" He replied, "Oh it's definitely reparable," So my question is if it's definitely repairable then why are they "trying to see if they can get it to stop leaking through" ? So the next morning my boyfriend stays home from work (an inconvenience to him) so that he can be here when they come to fix the roof. We get woke up by a hard storm and the first thing i thought was "oh crap the ceiling" we ran to check it and just as we thought it was dripping into the carpet. We first put a pot under it but then it was dripping so much that the pot would have been full in no time so we had to take our trash can and put it under it. We sat here waiting for the people to show up to fix the roof. They were supposed to be here at 9am then at about 8:45 they call us and say that they can't come today because of the rain. So we're sitting here having to deal with a leaking roof and ceiling until they decide they want to come out and fix it. So when my boyfriend tried to call the office at clayton homes on clinton highway they will not answer the phone. We have the cell phone number of the guy who sold us the trailer and he will not answer the phone either. When i tried to call them to tell them about the problem in the first place i called the guy 3 times he didn;t answer so i left a message this was around 8:30 am and then around 11am i called back and he finally answered, said he just now got my message 3 hours later. So i had to call him back when after he got my message he should have been the one to call me. The people here act like its not they're top priority to fix a problem when there is one. They're top priority here is just to sell the home then once its sold they don't care about you or what happens to the trailer.

We had some problems right after we bought it too. Our kitchen sink didn't work right when you'd turn the handle nothing came out sometimes it took ten minutes of sitting there with the handle on before anything would come out. Also when we bought the trailer it didn't have deadbolt locks and we told them that we would like to have deadbolt locks put on they said that was no problem. Well when they finally got the trailer ready for us to move into it, it still didn't have the deadbolt locks on it. So they had to send someone out to do it. They had to put whole new doors on it and new door knobs. The guys that were doing our new doors complained the whole time about how much they hate doing door knobs and what a pain they are. They literally complained the whole time. It was a hot day so i offered them something to drink and they had a specific request diet mountain dew, i didn't not have diet mountain dew so i offered them regular mountain dew or regular coke or water, one said if i didn't have diet mountain dew he didn't want anything and the other took water. I don't know if the realize it or not but my home is not a restaurant . I hope anyone thinking about buying a trailer from here will think twice before they do it.

Sincerely, Highly Dissatisfied Customer.
