I chose to become a dietitian because I find helping others to improve their health to be very rewarding. I also love food and have always been fascinated by the function of food as a fuel for our bodies. My approach is to provide education on healthy eating and nutrition while helping my patients make diet and lifestyle changes that will work for them. I hope to be a resource and guide to help them reach their goals, whether it be for weight loss, management of a medical condition, decrease medications or simply to feel better. When I am not working, I like to spend time with my two dogs, cycle, practice yoga, read and cook/bake.
