Your child deserves better health care. I had scheduled a regular exam for my 2 and three year old together and the day before our appt our entire family had the cold/flu. I had to point out multiple times to the nurse and to the nurse (NOT an actual doctor) the appointment was scheduled with, that both my children were sick. I had to ask twice for my children's throats and she basically refused. I was told to give my 22 month old benadryl for her cold. They basically did not want to address their being sick because they were originally scheduled for a "well visit only". That is reprehensible and wrong and I will never have my children there as patients ever again. Several of the staff also seemed to be very uneducated and unqualified to work in such an environment. Regarding my son, I was told "he ain't gotta take his shoes off." Upon checkout my husband asked for a Dr's note pertaining to the visit, which he had already mentioned to the nurse we were scheduled to see, to provide to his work for taking the day off to help me bring our two very active children to the doctor. Her reply was "I'm not writing that" and "your children were here for a well visit only" in a very rude manner. She was absolutely snotty. That was it for me. I did not ask for them to make any representations regarding administering care to myself or my husband - we simply asked for a general note stating that the family had a cold and that we had taken our children to the Doctor. There have been several other examples of rudeness and inappropriateness regarding treatment I do not care to mention. In our previous visit we were placed in a room that had blood smeared on the wall...Please stay away from this establishment, it is dirty, unprofessional and in no way is your child's health a priority or concern to them. Making sure they bill you and your insurance as much as possible while sticking you with the least experienced nurse and NOT an actual Doctor whilst their ignorant and frankly, bleach-blond redneck staff talks down to you and tells you what they are not going to do.
