Provided by YP.comI am here to say this shop is honest. Today I had 2 phone batteries replaced and a computer repair! In & out in just a few hours. I’m so impressed especially when a different local repair tech cheated me by selling me an obsolete part. You can’t trust those guys who work alone, but twice now these technicians could have charged me more but charged less than what I thought I should pay. FAIR and have very experienced team of intelligent technicians on staff. I’ve been in town 10 years, & bought a used desktop from them when I first moved here. I’ve taken laptops & phones in, and it’s done right every time. They taught me Libra which weaned me off Microsoft office. I’m not ever ever going anywhere else.

I would not and will not refer anyone to this company. The paper they have you sign when you bring in your electronic device for repair or diagnostic says in their own way that they can destroy your computer and not be responsible for it. They say every computer repair shop has the same form for anyone that gets service done. This is not true, I called all the shops around the state and in California and nobody requires a waiver for service. If they knew what they were doing they would not need such a form.

Provided by YP.comI was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service and "repair" of my apple MacBook. My mac abruptly stopped working and was giving me the "apple wheel of death." I am not local to the Klamath area, and had previously not needed to use a computer repair shop. I did some research and Klamath Technology was one of the few places that would work on Mac products. I was hoping to use someone local to minimize the time it would take to get my computer back and running. Klamath Tech took a week and a half to look at and diagnose my computer. Apparently the person who was trained to work on apple products was "out of town." After an extended waiting time, I was contacted and was told my hard drive was "bad." They were able to replace my hard drive and transfer my data. Two months later I went to re-boot my computer and again, wheel of death. I took my computer back in yet for another repair. This time they were extremely poor at communicating with me. Each time I would call to check on the status of my computer, I would talk to a different person who seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. Each time I was given a different story or was told that the person working on it was not available. I eventually got a call that the "motherboard was bad" and told to buy a new computer. I asked if there was a way to replace the motherboard, or what other options I had. They explained it wasn't worth the price and to buy a new computer. I went and picked up my computer and took it home.
My boyfriend decided to do some research to see if he could replace the motherboard himself, and discovered that my hard drive was no longer in the computer. I quickly called Klamath Tech and they reported that I could come back to the shop to pick it up. The tech at the front desk appeared nervous and unorganized. He explained to me that they keep most hard drives on "bad computers" to "destroy them." I thought this was interesting considering the first time I took my computer in they gave me my old, ‘dead’ hard drive back. This seemed extremely sketchy and made me question their integrity and reliability. I ended sending my computer to apple and they ended up replacing my battery and it is working great. I am extremely dissatisfied and feel taken advantage of. Klamath Tech charged me upwards of $250 to unsuccessfully fix my computer when apple was able to replace a few minor things and have my computer up and running. I would not recommend them due to their questionable integrity and lack of knowledge regarding apple products.
