The Town of Tonawanda Highway Department is responsible for preserving the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the Town of Tonawanda in New York. The department manages a highway division that offers leaf collection, salting, snow plowing, and road maintenance and reconstruction services. It is also comprised of a forestry division that specializes in sidewalk replacement and tree removal and planting solutions. The Town of Tonawanda Highway Department s sanitation and recycling division is responsible for the weekly collection of garbage, trash and household hazardous waste. In addition, the department administers the Recycla Bull program. It provides services for more than 350 lane miles of road.
