It is chartered by the state of Texas and provides electric service to members in the northeastern Texan counties of Anderson, Dallas, Henderson, Hunt, Kaufman and Van Zandt. As an electric cooperative, TVEC is operated on a nonprofit basis.

We have done business with these wonderful folks since Sept 2013. They have been above and beyond in every way. There have been very few outages and when one happens due to inclimate weather, they have it up and going again in a short period of time. Their rates are very good also. We love this company!

Tvec

They need to be shut down due to shaudy business practices. They ask you for paydays then set your duedate 3 days before you get paid. Same with the disconnect notices. They also only allow two payment arrangements a year
