I check the rating before I tried this restaurant, and the rating were four star which is very misleading. The worst experience will never return.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant. I was looking for a new Chinese Restaurant to try in the Katy area, having been disappointed at everything out there. I searched for them online but they don't have a website. (Year 2009 here, everyone has a site! -LOL) So, I went in and placed a huge order, so we could sample a little of everthing. We ordered:

Hot and Sour Soup (which was very tasty)

Beef on a stick (only item I found disappointing, it was very dry, almost jerky like)

Sweet and Sour Pork (very good)

Chicken wing appetizer and HOT chicken wing appetizer (again, very good)

Shrimp and Scallops (Very good)

Special Rice (Very good, not too greasy, just right)

Orange Chicken (Very good)

SpareRibs appetizer (very good, not greasy or fatty)

Fried Bananas (This was the first time I've seen this on a Chinese Restaurant Menu so I had to try it. It was really GOOD! )

Food was HOT and very good. Everyone in our family loved it. We definetly will be back.

I eat at Hong Kong's cafe at least once a week. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The quality of the meat is first-rate. They have dinner and lunch specials and it's good value for the money. The dining experience is consistently good. I'm pretty sure it's family-owned and the service shows it. Please support this great local restaurant! (And try the orange peel chicken!)

I LOVE the Hong Kong Cafe. The food is fresh, good quality, and reasonably priced. It's obviously family-owned and run and the service shows it. I've eaten many things here and all of them are good. Very consistent. I hope folks will support this local restaurant. Orange-peel chicken rocks! They also deliver!
