Provided by YPmobileI brought my wedding dress in for Mary to alter. She did SUCH an amazing job. I honestly didn't think it would fit as great as it did. I would recommend her in a heart-beat for any alterations...especially important ones. Oh, and she is so reasonably priced! Other "stores" wanted 3x what she charged me and I'm sure the quality of the final product would not have been nearly as good! Thanks Mary!

Provided by YP.comUnfortunately, I did not have the same pleasant experience as the previous review! In order to take your items in on Saturday - you have to call and make an appointment, which I did and dropped them off - at which time I ask what the turn around time was for hemming my white pants and blue jeans. Mary said 3 days! I also told her I wanted a invisible hem on the white pants. She said she would call when they were finished. On Thursday of the NEXT week, I called and ask if my items were finished - Mary could not remember who I was, or what I had brought in for alterations. When she did find my items, she said they were not done and she would do them on Friday and get them done. I called her again on Friday and she said she would call me at 10:00am the next day ( Saturday ). On Saturday at 11:00am, I still had heard nothing - so I called her. She said her husband would be there - just go on in and pick them up. When I got home and reviewed my items - the white pants were very poorly done and did NOT have an invisible hem and the blue jeans are still too long - so I will be going to "THE SISTERS ALTERATIONS" and have them both done professionally!! And I will be telling everyone I know - DO NOT GO TO "SEW SWEET"!!!

Provided by YP.comMary was just great to work with. I came in with a costume two weeks before an event and was desperate for an alteration. I didn't think it could happen since from what I could see, there was no where to let the dress out. When I brought it in, she immediately made a completely different suggestion, by taking out the zipper and making it a corset closure. She was very reasonably priced and had the dress done a week in advance. It looked great too!

Provided by YP.comSew sweet is amazing! The alterations she completed for my daughters wedding were absolute perfection! She rescued my daughter from a previous seamstress' horrible work! Sew Sweet did my daughter's wedding dress , mother of the bride dress and several of the bridesmaids. We couldn't be more pleased! All of our future alteration needs will go straight to Sew Sweet. No reason to ever go elsewhere!

Provided by YP.comIf I could give her more than 5 stars I would! I live in St. Louis and was in a wedding in Kansas City and David's Bridal not only ordered the wrong dress the first time and re-order, causing the dress to get in a week before the wedding, but then wanted to charge me a rush fee of $35.00 in addition to the alterations charges to alter it. I called Mary at Sew Sweet the Wednesday afternoon before the wedding. I couldn't get my dress to her until Thursday night since my flight didn't get in until 6 p.m. She assured me she would take care of me and get it done before Saturday. Mary met me at her shop at 8 p.m. to size me, and had it done by 4:00 p.m. on Friday! She is amazing, the alterations made it fit perfectly, and the quality of work is better than anything I could have expected. She charges way less than David's Bridal, the customer service isn't even comparable, and the quality is much much higher! I will take my future alterations to her when I am in town.

Provided by YP.comI first went to Sew Sweet Alterations when looking for a seamstress to make my wedding dress. I only had three weeks before the wedding date and was getting very anxious. I bought the material and my dress was completed in two weeks. I received many compliments on the quality of the workmanship from family and friends. They could not believe that I only paid $150 for it. I now take all my work there. It is always done with quality and speed.
