at first I was really excited because she seemed to know exactly what I wanted in my wedding dress. And the price seemed decent. However after a couple weeks and no call back, well after the time she said she would be done, I finally called her to see if she was done. She said yes I was just waiting till the snow melted to call you. I said OK, and came right in the next day. When I tried it on and noticed a few things I wanted altered a different way, which she had told me during the first visit was OK as she did everything temporarily then after my confirmation secured it permanently, she seemed to ignore or rationalize away my concerns, when I asked her about it being temporary and her finalizing it after I approved the changes she said but there is nothing that needs to be changed right??? As if I was supposed to say yes. It made me feel really uncomfortable. Here is what was wrong; The hem on my dress was obviously uneven, one side be clearly higher than the other, when I mentioned this she said it was how the dress came..ya right... Later I took it home and looked underneath it and noticed that she had actually stitched it up to be higher on one side. So either she forgot or she was lying. I also was displeased the multiple pins left in my dress from where she was working, loose threads hanging out from where she worked, stitches left unfinished and her barley being able to find the fully enclosed zip up dress bag I brought the dress in with when I was about to leave her house. Overall I felt that what I wanted wasn't really honored and my concerns where blown over with excuses like, "that not how the dress is originally supposed to go". I'm thinking the whole time, "that's the reason why I'm here, I want it altered!!!" Even little adjustments I wanted to achieve the look I was going for were made to seem like a huge burden and she kept making excuses not to do them. Lastly the bustle she gave me didn't even work with my dress they covered up the flower details on the back of the dress and didn't even properly lift up my dress for dancing, it was still dragging on the floor!!! Horrible service and quality.
