I recently went to the Jerusalem Cafe with my sister and two friends. The food was good, but when we recieved the check, the waiter had added a 30% gratuity automatically, because we were a party of four! I understand restaurants adding gratuity for large parties, but never 30% and never for so small a party as four! I've always enjoyed the spot because the food is good and the prices are reasonable, but after that, I will not be returning.

I had been wanting to try something new for a while and had my eye on the Jerusalem cafe! After eating the food and smoking the huka, great service and fun atmosphere, the cafe quickly became our new hangout!

I moved to San Francisco California from Kansas City MO. Back in October 2005, I speak for myself as well as my Partner, who is also from Kansas City, when we say " We miss your Pita Bread and your fine food. We are STILL... looking for a place that mildly serves to compare. :( We miss YOU!
