My first encounter with Dr. Carlson was when he took over the care of my very ill cat 8 years ago and literally saved his life. Since then, he has overseen the medical care of my many cats and dogs. He is clear in his explanations about diagnoses and treatment plans and when my pets have reached the end of their lives, he has helped with that transition with sensitivity. His staff likewise treat my pets as they would like their own pets to be treated.

Dr. Sproul was my vet for my wonderful dog for many years. Not only is he a great vet but he supports the community by giving young black men a chance to work in their community. We have had several conversations in his office as he cared for my dog over the years. My dog ( Sebastian, 17 yrs old just recently passed away and it hurts to say his name.) always got excellent grooming and medical treatment over the years. The staff at Hickman Mills Animal Hospital was always professional and pleasant. I would recommend them to anyone. We need more pet lovers and people lovers like them . May God continue to bless their work.
