This church experienced some rocky times a few years ago, but has rebuilt. Our daughter attended preschool here in 2015 and we started attending services. We felt immediately welcomed and have made some great friends here. We plan to stay.

I attended Sunday services here a few times and really wanted this to become my permanent place of worship but I just never felt welcome. I tried to reach out to the pastor but he never seemed to have any interest in me or my family. Even my conversation with other staff members wasn't what a church should be like. I find it very sad that I place of worship could be so unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend GUMC to a friend.
