The quality of Days Inn has si...

The quality of Days Inn has significantly declined. I would not recommend staying at this Park And Fly Hotel. Stay somewhere else.

Background) Made a reservation 6 months prior to the stay using a Discover credit card. The reservation was made for 2 queen sized beds, non-smoking room with a late check in.

1) The front desk was messy and unorganized; papers strewn everywhere. Receptionist could not find my reservation initially. Receptionist called me "sweetie" repeatedly. I found this to be the opposite of homely and welcoming. It was late, I was tired, and about 10 years older than her. I was not, and am not, a "sweetie." Further, she was unprofessional, and made derogatory comments towards her supervisor, "If I didn't need the job, I wouldn't work here."

2) The credit card machine was not working and the system did not take Discover at all. So even though I had already paid online, I had to find cash to pay for the room. Then I did not receive a receipt, even though I asked. She said "Check with the manager tomorrow morning."

3) I was given a room with one king bed, and it was a smoking room. I had to go back downstairs and request a different room. The receptionist looked my reservation up in the system and "sure enough, you did request 2 beds and non-smoking." The hotel room I did end up getting was tired, and worn, that reminded me more of a hotel 6 than a Days Inn.

4) The manager did not speak very good English, and was hard to understand. WHen I requested a receipt, he told me "you should have received one when you checked in." I requested a receipt again, and then he ran out of paper in the printer.

I had originally planned to stay there on the return end of my trip, but after my experiences, I cancelled that reservation.
