Never get a LOAN with CCCU-Whatch out for Patricia Fanks!

Patricia Franks: Collection Manager: In the last year I had acquired a used vehicle upon which I financed through Central Communications Credit Union. After a car accident in May a snowball effect hindered me in making my car payments in a timely matter and as of Aug. & Sept. had fallen behind but was making partial payments. The 1st week in October I had pulled double shifts with the intention of making my payments for the 2 months in full. Oct. 9; I received a letter from the back stating the amount owed $503.10 due no later than Oct 27th or will take action in retrieving property (my vehicle). That night I made a night drop deposit in cash for the amount owed $503.10, to which I verified online through my account statements with the payment noted per night drop-“ok per PKF” which was posted on Oct 12. Because I received no more notifications via mail or phone I rightfully assumed I was current on all payments. Oct. 27th, I go to work (mind you I had received no phone calls or notice in the last 15 days since making my payment). The “lady” handed me here card “Patricia Franks” I asked what the misunderstanding was because I had clearly made my payments which I had also verified with her initials. Already she was overly rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, but she had the odasity to laugh in my face tell me I was a liar and I had made no payments since August, and proceeded in turning her back away from me and giving me no time to prove her wrong! Immediately I ran into the office went to my online account and printed my loan payments showing 9/24/10 -$100, 9/27/10 - $115, & 10/12/10 - $503.10 (ok per pkf) which verified my 2 payments of $351 that were clearly made. Leaving me with no way to get or fix the problem because banks are closed @ 5pm-I had to wait til the next day to pursue answers. Upon contacting the branch manager first thing the next morning & explaining everything, she was baffled as much as I was-but conveniently Patricia Franks boss was out of town the last 2 days and would not be available til Friday morning. With in 30mins Patricia Franks called me and said quote “you will not be getting your car back, I am closing your checking account so I suggest you listen to what I’m telling you and find another bank to finance you.” My rebuttal was “so your telling me that 15 days ago when you sent me a letter for my payments that 1 ½ months behind with a payment I owed by October 27 or you would take action in retrieving my car-that I made the payment for the total amount within 2 days of receiving the letter-and YOU INITIALED, you are still taking my car?” she responded with “I didn’t initial anything”-so your initials are not PKF PATRIA FRANKS!? “Well yes those are mine but…”I suggest you transfer me to someone who isn’t you because I am done communicating with you and your unprofessional behavior. And I SUGGEST you get your story straight before you every try and do this to someone else, because you clearly underestimated me. Not only did I contact my lawyer but I am pursuing action with the Better Business Bureau and Fox 4 news along with my online efforts to ensure no one ever has to go through what I have.
