I contacted Will earlier this year (2010) to help me out with my lawn situation. The gentlemen who were taking care of me just up and skipped town after I had paid them the entire contract year up front. When I called Will and told him what had happened, he assured me that he wouldn't do that because he does not allow for contracts to be paid up front. We have been doing business since March and I could not be happier. Aside from the weed problem we have been fighting since the heat struck, this is the best my lawn has looked in about three years.

Will is great to deal with... he tells you like it is and for those that do your research, you will find that he is spot on. Overall, his work and the quality of his work is great.

Will has been great to work with over the past few years. I have been with him since 2008 and have never had such a great working relationship with anyone else as I do with Will. He tells you like it is and is upfront. Too bad we don't have more folks like him in business to deal with.

Great day. You'd think that people had gone crazy the way they are acting nowadays. Shame, shame Mickey Williams. Shame. Your mother should have spanked you a little bit harder when you were growing up. You think that you would know better.



Will is super to deal with. Just super. Always has a smile for me when he comes and always makes me feel great about my day. Loves the lord and loves us folks he deals with. He genuinely cares for folks, and that is very important to me.

Go with Will... You can't go wrong by him. I am deeply troubled that Citrus7 (Mickey Williams of Moreland Wood Trail, Concord... and yes I went there) feels it necessary to trash this fine young man. You all have to know that there is more to this story than he is telling. The reason? I have been dealing with Will since 2008. I have known Will since 1996 when we moved to this neighborhood. Will's mother and father live in the same neighborhood as we do. Citrus7, Mickey Williams, the one who trashed Will and is unfortunately one of our neighbors as well. There has NEVER been one time when Will has not done what he promised us. As you all can read, he has a lot of very satisfied customers. He shows up every week, does a great job every week, and when we need other things done, he takes our deposit and shows up and performs the work. He has used the same method every time to receive payment for the work that he is to perform. If there are issues, he tells us and we are done with it. We know that it is going to be done without question. When Will came to our home yesterday for our regular service, he asked for an honest review of his performance without mentioning anything having to do with Mr. Williams. We made mention of him doing the work for Mr. Williams and what we had heard and he then (without going into great detail) told us what had transpired with this idiot. BY THE WAY. TO ALL WHO READ THIS. Will completed the work at Mr. William's home on Saturday. Will was there, ON SATURDAY for a good three or four hours because we stopped and spoke to him going to the store and briefly coming from the store, even making a joke as we passed on the way home at him still being there. Based on Will's attitude, we never would have expected what I am about to tell you. We have since confirmed some things that I had heard through the grapevine in the neighborhood, prior to writing this review this morning. It seems that Will spoke to Mr. Williams a few weeks back and Mr. Williams cancelled his first appointment. Will apparently rescheduled it for last Thursday and found out that there would be other work being done in the yard, so he scheduled it for Saturday. Then Mr. Williams called him on Friday wanting to know why he was not there on Thursday. Then on Saturday, Will got chewed out because he was not at the home of the idgit at 8 that morning. I know for a fact that Will has NEVER given a time to us. He tells us that he will be there on a certain day or date. He has a lot going on, so in his line of work, giving a time just makes no sense at all and he has never done it. From what I was told, at about 12:30/1:00 when they spoke, Will told this idiot that he was on a job and would be done in one to two hours and would be on the way to The Woodlands. At 3:00, this idiot went to Will's parent's home and threatened to call the Police if he did not show up; saying that Will had promised him that he would be there between one and two. The Will that I know would not have done that. I was also told that sometime during his brief time at the home of the IDIOT, Will was out in front of Mr. William's home speaking with another of his customers, as well as the president of our HOA and his wife while waiting for chemicals to dry that he had sprayed on Mr. William's lawn requiring them to be completely dry prior to putting down the seed he was to put down. Sometime during Will's conversation, Mr. Williams came out his front door and used some rather fowl and offensive language to tell the three people that Will was speaking to to leave. According to the people that I spoke with, Will tried to explain his reasons for not having the seed down yet and Mr. Williams told him to shut-up and just do it and then went back in the house without listening to Will. Like people have said since Saturday. Mr. Williams is a loose cannon. Everyone here in the neighborhood thinks that he is crazy anyway. Certifiable. Enough said? I think so.

With several months under our belt from when we signed on with Will in February, he has yet to disappoint us. Our yard has not looked this good in years. Emerald green in color is what we like and what we have. We have a professional looking maintained lawn, which is what he told us that we would have. Go with Will.. You can't go wrong.

We contacted Will to take a look at our property and listen to what we needed. All that we asked for was someone who would be there when we asked and someone who would do what we asked. Since he started on our lawn in March, we could not be any happier (or sunnier) than we are now. The lawn and the shrubs are healthier than ever. We have a problem with our Crapes in our yard and he took the time to take samples from all of them to take to the County Extension Office to verify his suspicions of the problem and his suspicions were dead right. A+ to work with. A+. Did I mention? A+

Will has been a joy to work with for the last 1 1/2 years. He has been attentive to my financial situation and has worked with me to allow me to get a much nicer looking yard and shrubbery area than I had by doing what I could afford. He's not pushy, not expensive, and truly cares about his clients and what they need, both in business as well as in their personal lives. He does great work. Really a great fella to deal with.

I went with Creative Surroundings this year due to a very bad experience with my people last year. So far we have been at it since the middle of March and he has completely reworked my irrigation system, seeded and fertilized my lawn, and given me a property to brag about. He righted the ship. Great guy.. Great company to work with.

After making the mistake of Paying Will $300.00 in advance to plant grass in my yard, as of today 4-17-10 he has still not showed up to perform the work I paid him for three weeks ago. He has never contacted me on his own to tell me of any delays or reasons why he has not shown up to perform the work. I have contacted him on a number of occassions with the last being today when he told me he had promisede to do my yard today and he would be here between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm. He has not called and I have once again left him a message to be the honest businessman he represented himself to be and just return my $300.00.

The folks from Creative Surroundings are a thrill to work with. William has been available when we have had questions and has made his way to our home at all hours of the night to help with issues. We had a problem with our irrigation system where a valve broke and was flowing water into the street. We found it after God knows how long and called William and he came out at 11:30 and cut off the water to the valve and saved us a ton of money. He was there the very next morning to repair the problem. Super bunch to work with.

Called Will and he came out to look at a couple of trees. Told me that he would have his tree guy come out. I was worried about the cost. Will gave me some examples of pricing that his tree guy had quoted and done work for. They came out and handled it without any issues. They tool down the tree, stumped out, flattened out the mound where the tree was, and hauled away the debris. Everyone else had quoted me 4-600 to do it. These guys came out and did it for $250. Professional and all. It seems that Creative Surroundings passes the affordability, professionalism, and quality thing around. It seems like he takes those things seriously.

If you are a lawn nut, like I am, then you need to call Will. I am unable to get out in my yard because of a reaction that I have to the sun after long periods of exposure, but Will came into my place and has made sure that it looks the way that I want it to. I had a Better Homes and Gardens yard before I got sick and he has helped me bring that back to life. Will is funny too, so I enjoy his company. Great young man with a great group of folks helping him.

Would give these guys a great score all of the time, but no one is perfect.

These guys are great to work with. Will is spot-on with everything that he tells you. I stopped doing it, but whenever I started out with Will last year, I would go behind him and research what he was telling me. I finally stopped doing it after about the fourth time when I found that eveything that he had told me was right. He even provided documentation to support what he was telling me, but I still had my doubts. Stupid me. Great outfit to work with. They now handle all of my lawn & landscaping needs.

Those are three things you definitely get with these guys. One thing that you have to do is truly listen to what they are telling you. Will is not a high-pressure sales guy. He is an honest person who is not gonna sell you the ice that he should have sold to the eskimo. He tells you how it is. When you compare the prices that you are getting from other companies, make sure that you are comparing fairly. Will comes in lower on some projects and higher on others, but always has a definite answer as to why his pricing is the way it is. He has no fees hidden and is totally up front about what he pays for product. I have used Will and Creative Surroundings now for the last year and I can tell you that I will not go with anyone else for my lawn care and landscaping needs as long as they are around.

We decided to call Creative Surroundings this fall because of the horrible service we were receiving from one of the fertilization service companies (their name begins with True and ends with Green). When Will from Creative Surroundings got out to our home, we explained to him what we had a problem with. We have had True Green for several years now and have paid out a tremendous amount of money to them and have absolutely nothing to show for it. They have aerated, put out seed, fertilized, treated, and done all kinds of things to get the yard right, and we have watered to the point of nearly breaking us, but when Will came out, he asked us a few really simple questions and determined within 5 minutes of being there that the wrong grass seed was being put in our yard because of what seed was already there. True green had been seeding our yard with Fescue for the last two years and the yard is Bermuda. Will explained that the Bermuda thrives in the Summer and makes it impossible for the Fescue to grow where the Bermuda thrives, so that is why we have not seen any Fescue. He said that the best thing to do would be to put down annual rye so that it would green up and then come back in the spring with bermuda seed and seed the yard. It is gonna be expensive, but he said that we will have grass. Great guy with proof of what he says. We will have to wait on complete results, but I have a better feeling than I had with anyone else that has come out.
