When I go to Jr's Chicken we get the buffet. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious! Prices are even resonable! Yum

My regular stop on Thursdays, either for the pot roast special or the buffet. Comfort food at its best and plenty of it. Oh yeah, great Sloppy Joe special on Tuesday, too. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. One of my clients from Chicago demands to have lunch here every time he comes to see me.

JR's chicken is delicious! Of course hands down they have the best fried chicken and Mac salad, but I am a huge fan of their spicy chicken and waffles as well as some of their daily specials such as the country fried streak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Service is always on point, very friendly atmosphere. It's also a great place to stop for a beer while you are waiting on your pick up order! Love this place!

JR's chicken is very good and as close to homemade as you can get. Also, once you try their macaroni salad, you will be hooked! The service is great and quick for those who are pressed for time.

the chicken is awesome and i LOVE the mashed potatoes & macaronoi salad!! . i am from kankakee but live in kansas city now and everytime i come back home its a must that we stop in!!

The only thing this place has going for it is its macaroni salad. The chicken is good but most grocery stores chicken is just as good and cheaper. If you are in a hurry and phone in your order, expect to have a wait when you arrive. From my experience they don't cook the chicken until you pay for it.

A word of warning the macaroni salad is addicting once you try it you will be hooked.
