John loves the challenges and rewards that come with being an orthopedic trauma physician assistant. His parents encouraged him to follow his passions which led him to develop his strong and enthusiastic approach to medicine and patient care. John believes it’s crucial to make the patient the top priority and make a positive impact in their lives. He enjoys the variety his career offers by assisting in the operating room, performing joint injections, looking at X-rays and evaluating and treating patients in the clinic.When John isn’t caring for his patients, he enjoys participating in charitable 5k races and volunteering within the community. He spends his free time surrounded by family and friends and enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping and fishing.I believe that each patient should be treated as an individual from the very beginning. The diversity and opportunity to help others during their greatest need is what made me want to become a physician assistant in orthopedic trauma.
