My baby was born with a heart condition, so I was referred by the hospital to Dr. Fountain. When I went in, she was kind and got right to the point which I greatly appreciated. Then made an awful “joke” about not letting us take our 2 week old infant home! I was already on edge because of the situation, but at that point I was ready to run out. At 2 months old we went back and she was shocked that my baby went from the 50th percentile for height and weight to the 90th percentile for both in two months. Even though my baby was exclusively breastfed, she required me to take her to the nutritionist, who said that our baby was a perfect healthy weight and not to change a thing. The nutritionist said that it seemed silly to do, but Dr. Fountain had insisted. There were some other small things including another joke about keeping our baby that confirmed to me that I would never trust her judgment and I needed to seek out another professional to care for my child.
