So Ono! Broke da mouth good always

So I heard this place was top notch on the island. Coming from Oahu for the weekend, I had to give it a try. I called to place my order, the girl was super nice. She even emailed me the menu with the prices, awesome. She told me it will take about 20 minutes for the food to be ready so I got there for my pickup and it was ready. The place was already packed, people dining in and standing outside waiting. That's a good sign. I get back to my room to finally come a disappointment. Damn!

I ordered the "Pulehu NY grilled steak" and it was super small...I mean come on,for $27? Are u f**ing kidding me? I could've bought the Foodland steak plate lunch for under $10. I was REALLY disappointed. First and last that's for sure.

This place is great a definite stop the food is amazing I live here and eat here when I come to this side of the island and the service is great as well

Great local dishes, huge portions, good prices. Recommend sharing, or plan to take food home!

It's as if you visited your favorite brothers/sisters house! As an "Aunty" the girls (waitress) automatically waited on me through the whole "Da Kitchen" EXPERIENCE. Greeted by friendly smiles and the wonderful aromas escaping from da kitchen.



I ordered the Fish Tempura and an iced Chai tea. My tea was refreshing and ono. As the waitress placed my plate infront of me my jaw hit the floor. I was amazed at the "generous portions". Two large scoops of white rice, a scoop of potato salad and three very large tempura fish filets (estimated 8-10" long each) yes, each @ 8 to 10 inches, I kid you not.

WHAT A "DA KITCHEN" EXPERIENCE. Customer Services AWESOME!!!!!!! So family oriented. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Last time I ate at this restaurant, the fish was a little fishy and the bbq beef a little past it. Their prices are higher compared to other plate lunch restaurants nearby, so it's really uncool for the proprietors not to try a little harder and deliver better quality in food.
