Very helpful and respectful. They didn't have the part I needed, but took time out of their busy day to search on the internet for the part I needed. They located the part and gave me the phone number to the salvage yard. I certainly recommend Hess and Sons Salvage!

Hess & Sons are not short of the title above..... We do a lot of work at Fort Riley and I vow to use any other business in town to scrap material or drive to Topeka to scrap. All I ask for is a fair, reasonable rate. But each time we take material to Thieves & Sons the rules change. Rude is short of the whole story. Straight up criminal is more accurate. At least they are not your only choice in town.Not sure how to rate a negative star but they do not deserve one star. One star is giving them too much credit, credit which they do not give the customer.

I don't recomend selling your steel here. He doesn't let you see the weight. He is rude, gives you very much less than its worth, and also his prices on parts are high enough to just buy a new part.
