My husband filed for divorce and so I thought I had better hire an attorney to protect myself. I met with Mr. Johnson for a free consultation and though everything appeared fine, his demeanor was a bit fidgety and nervous seeming. I left and thanked him for the information and told him that I would be in touch as soon as a bank was open to get the retainer fee. The next day I called him to make the arrangements and he did not answer. I left a message of my intention and he did not call me back. After three days and many many messages I gave up and hired another lawyer. He is a much cheaper attorney to hire, but remember: you pay for what you get!
