We had an incident where we hit a tree in the road and ran over it with the right side of the car (it was dark, and a car met us at the top of the hill with its bights on). Took the car back to the dealer ship we bought it from and filed with the insurance. Long story short I did not have a good feeling that the dealer ship had repaired everything and expressed my concerns to the insurance company. When we got the car back, it just did not feel right. Drove it for a few days and then it suddenly started randomly jerking to the left and right. I did not want to take it back to the dealership, so we started looking for someone else. Our neighbor recommended this business so my husband called them and was told to bring it in, and they would take a look. We dropped off at about 1030 and was told they would look at if after lunch. At 1:00 we received a call, and the mechanic told us that the right lower control arm was bent, and it would be just over $500 to fix it. My husband told him to go ahead and make the repairs. He said they would have to order the parts but should have them by morning. The next day they called us at 1215 to let us know that the care was ready. We picked it up and we have had no problems since. The owner even told us that we should file this new repair on our insurance and that he would be more than happy to talk to them and explain why this was part of the accident. They were absolutely professional, fast, and in my opinion went above and beyond to ensure we were happy customers. I would highly recommend Southern Kustoms and they will get all of our business from now on.

Put this car in to have motor cover and skid plate replaced as well as check car for electrical problems, i.e., fog lights, radio, horn, ac/heat not working and engine cutting out. Charged me right at $500 and only fixed fog lights and horn (3 fuses? -- $8.23). Labor (?) was $425. Refused to let me check out car's functionality before payment. Pulled car out onto highway and the engine light came on. Took it to Auto Zone for a scan, which shows the transmission, which had not given a problem ever, was suddenly malfunctioning. Customer service rep is completely rude. Don't think mechanics have a clue. Cannot recommend this business to anyone.
