My mother and I tried on two occasions to purchase this property. First time, we tried to buy from an elderly couple who signed the purchase agreement, but then the day of their board meeting denied us approval to buy under the assumption that my mom would not be living there and wasn't a current Georgia resident. Ok, fine. But it was obvious they were just looking for an excuse because the woman - Ms. Hildred - then took their house off the market, even though I had seen her home with a personal tour BY HER, even made a point to point out their moving boxes!



The second time we tried to buy a property that had basically been abandoned and ownership taken over by the co-op/board of directors. We had all of our ducks in a row, my mom moved to town, we had a legal lease with her name, approval for home loan in MY name, every requirement was met exempt the board of directors REFUSED to meet and REFUSED to sign approval or denial forms. They just left our application sitting in limbo. Ms. Hildred sent a letter to the two property managers and all 5 board members defaming my mom and I with no reason at all saying she will NEVER meet with us and approve our purchase of one of our properties.



The office manager is nice and she tried to get us approval, but she should never have accepted our earnest money (on two occasions) saying she is certain we'll get approved! Ms. Hildred should NEVER have signed the initial purchase agreement if she didn't want to sell her house. And if I was so unbecoming as a property owner, why did YOU sign the purchase agreement Hildred, and why did you allow me to tour your house two times??? Why did you accept my money on two occasions???



These people are unwelcoming, they don't follow the rules listed in their own membership booklet, they seem to want to turn this property into an old folks home or something, but they are clearly shady when it comes to their business practices!!! You do NOT want to move here, I promise you, The chair of the board of Directs, Hildred from building 1E or 2E... that old lady is a sad individual who doesn't know the first thing about community! Avoid her and this property at all costs!!!
