HORRIBLE JOB

They groomed my dog on Saturday October 18th. If I could, I wouldn't even give then one star but I had to at least put one in order to write this review. They did the absolute WORST grooming on my dog that I have ever seen and I have had dogs since I was born. Not to mention the service was terrible by them telling me that they were doing me a favor by staying open to groom my dog when that was their choice and I didn't even ask them to do that. Then they told me that once they called to tell me my dog was done that I had to come pick her up immediately since they were closed. Maybe if they would have answered their phone the three times that I called earlier in the week they wouldn't have wasted their time and my money on the horrible grooming they did to my dog. I could have easily taken her somewhere else which I should have done. They did such a bad job that I couldn't believe their business is still open. I straight up told them NOT to shave her, that I DID NOT WANT HER SHAVED because I like the way she looked when she's fluffy and they shaved her. Not to mention their shaving job that they did is all off and nothing is even. Her face is a disaster thanks to them and their horrible dog grooming skills. THEN they cut her beautiful long eye lashes which you are NEVER to do to a dog. They did such a horrible job and I will NEVER bring my dog back there again and I fully plan on telling people how horrible of a job they do on dogs and how they do not respect what the dog owner has to say about what they want done to their dog.

I had my Scottie groomed there...

I had my Scottie groomed there yesterday and his face has a big skinned down area right between his eyes.. His tail was uneven, his eyebrows where uneven. There was a spot on his hip that was uneven when asked to even it up I got excuses. They did go over him again but..I still feel it could have been better. Also, when I got him home I noticed his eyebrows were uneven his tail was uneven and I had to trim up his ears more myself. When I called the next day just to let them know what I thought about the service I was basically be rated on the phone by the woman who obviously has no customer service experience and just went on and on about how I looked at the dog right after he was cut. I was on the floor in an comfortable situation to have to tell them what they did wrong. I think a dog haircut is simple enough if that is your business you should know what to look for in the work that you do. She raised her voice and was basically yelling at me. Keep in mind I am a new customer for them never been there before. (I also chose to go there because they are a small business in the area and would support them rather than a place like PETCO.) She gave me a multitude of excuses from the blade couldn't cut down that far...of which you can clearly see the spots on his face and his neck that are cut down way too far so she basically was calling me a liar that his hair was skinned down. I mean even if I did tell them about it right then and there what would they have done? They couldn't fix a skinned down area. I've had my dog for 10 years and have had him groomed numerous times between Nanty-Glo, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles all in the same way I asked to have my dog groomed since he was a puppy. I never liked the Scottie cut and this was by far the worst grooming job he has ever had and that includes me doing him myself where in my opinion I do a much better job than most groomers. I get that it's just a dog haircut but...I don't even pay $30.00 to get my own hair cut and I would expect perfection if I did. I cannot believe the way I was treated on the phone and I will not go there again and I do not recommend anyone else do either unless you want to get yelled at as a form of customer service.

The next time Newton needs groomed we will give you a __% discount and we will mark down on your customer file to be mindful of the points you made that you mentioned were problems with the recent service so that we can do the best job for you in the future and keep you as a valued customer. they did such a outstanding job!!!!!! I would not take my dog any where else .but to patriotic pups pet grooming THANKS LADIES
