After seeing Dr. Masciotra for multiple years and h being very aware of my condition and how rapidly it exacerbates, I have been extremely ill for over s week. He did prescribe an antibiotic which I greatly appreciate, however as the problem rapidly worsened and my sinuses swelled closed I phoned his service Sat. Only to ask if he would phone in a steroid which helps almost immediately. I received a call back from his answering service and was told he would not call anything in over the weekend... Even knowing very well the problem and rapid exacerbation. He had them tell me to call office Mon.--LABOR DAY! For an appt. I called 2 weeks ago and the "couldn't fit me in til after mid- Sept.! Yet he thinks I'm not trying to get in to SEE him!! I hope he has a wonderful partying weekend while I'm in bed sitting upright with no sleep because my sinus cavities are swollen shut. And painful, fever, swollen face, etc. steroids are not controlled, addicting and he has to puts me on them when I get this ill. Thank you Dr. Masciotra I hope yo enjoyed your weekend.
