My property in Jersey City, NJ 07306 was broken into recently. Well, it wasnt exactly a break-in, because the locks were still intact. Someone had used a key to gain access and I could find a few items missing and moved out of place. To be honest, I wasnt really keen on hiring a locksmith because Ive heard people complain about how they take forever to resolve a request. I preferred going down to the hardware store and dealing with the situation in my own way. When the store nearby went out of business, I looked for other options and thats how I found them on The technician arrived on location in less than fifteen minutes, and it took him no more than five minutes to fix the lock. Not a great fan of locksmiths! When youve been tricked into buying unwanted stuff, charged $250 for opening up a locked car or reduced to waiting for hours for the person to get there, Im sure youd share the same feelings I used to! But Jersey City Lock & Locksmith does have a way with its customers! When I was locked out of my home and Id exhausted all my other options, a friend passed on their number to me. I called them up, a small part of me hoping that these guys would be a little different and they were! I barely waited ten minutes when a locksmith reached my location and sorted out my issue! They charged me $55 and were off! Wow!Whats my opinion of locksmiths now? Still not a great fan unless its someone from Jersey City Lock & Locksmith! Easily the best locksmith company in Jersey City, NJ try them out once if you dont believe me!

This is a top-notch company! When my tenant moved out, I needed to have all the locks re-keyed. Based on the great reviews I called Jersey City Lock & Locksmith - and completely agree with all of the raves. A very polite woman took my call and information, letting me know that the locksmith would contact me shortly. Paul called me within an hour or so and I was scheduled for the next day. It was James who actually came to re-key my locks. He arrived on time, was extremely pleasant and professional, and had my locks all done within an hour! The price was reasonable, and as quoted. Hope I don't need it, but this will be my go-to locksmith!

You know a business is done right when they give a reasonable time frame and actually arrive earlier than expected. Great service, very knowledgeable, positive attitude, and best of...........they came when it close to closing time on a weekday. Who would of thought Dave and his sidekick Scott (hope I got his name right) came the night I called them and the next day to replace the counterfeit lock with a great sturdy heavy duty lock he recommended!!!!!!!! It's been almost 3 months and no issues. Why cut yourself short when you can get things done right and get better quality products and service (worth it). We got locked out of our loft in Jersey City, NJ on a Sunday evening, Search Online for a locksmith and picked Jersey City Lock & Locksmith , he was at our place within 15 minutes. We have a pretty heavy duty lock I guess, we had no idea until he started working on it, but pretty soon he unlocked it and even did a little maintenance on it before he left!! I'd say the entire experience speaks to his efficiency, skill and service! He charged an incredibly reasonable competitive rate, $89.00.
