This sandwich stand on Somerset Pike (Route 985) in Jennerstown evolved into the Laurel HIghlands landmark it is today, known as Green Gables Restaurant, a Wine Spectator award winner. The rustic, artistic setting of Green Gables provides tables an expansive view of the stream that feeds Stoughton Lake as well as mountain flora and fauna.
