Accompanied my daughter to look at an apartment managed by Pinnacle. Shell showed us the apartment Dec. 2, and was not very nice at first to me. I asked if she was having a bad day and she explained she did not like dealing with Mom's because they are trouble. I laughed and said well I am not here to give you trouble. That was then.

My daughter was in a spot, this apt seemed like the perfect fit for the moment. It had a broken out front window, the ceiling in the basement looked like it was going to fall in and had an inch of water standing in the basement. Shell said she would put work orders in for these things. My daughter took the $500 deposit and application to Shell on Monday, Dec. 4 and was told the money would hold the apartment for 14 days. She left messages wanting to find out if she was approved and talk about signing a lease and the things that needed to be fixed prior to her and her children moving in. No return calls. She talked to Shell again on Dec. 8. At that time Shell said she had not put in any maintenance orders but would. Again, no dates were discussed and my daughter was left hanging. She works full-time, has two small children and goes to school so she asked me to call to see if I could get someone to call her back. I called on Dec. 14 at which time Robin told me she had until the 20th to move in or lose the deposit and would have someone call my daughter back, They didn't call back. The front window still had a piece of cardboard in it so we had to assume the water was still in the basement. Besides, no mention of a final date or signing of the lease. No one called back.I informed my daughter of the 20th being the deadline, she had no idea. Between the two of us, probably 20 calls had been made of which we have record of the calls and no one, not Shell, called back. She is now trying to get her deposit back. Shell called my daughter and me at work today the 19th, and verbally accosted me. Trying to get dep back. Stay away from this company.

Worst place I've ever rented. I think all the staff is white trash, we would have office people knocking on our door puffing on a cigarette! Totally unprofessional! We lived on Fountain Crest for over 3 years and things that werev supposed to get fixed when we moved in never did. After moving out, we were billed over $2000 for damages that were mostly normal wear and tear! Do yourself a favor and live in a ditch before you live in a Pinnacle property!

Management will try keeping your deposit. 2 court appearances before getting my deposit back. Would NEVER reccomend renting here!

We have lived at Ashley Square for almost 7 years. In that time, we have maintenance issues that have never been addressed, our apartment was broken into by another tenant that we had reported issues with for months, and they are trying to make US pay for the door! The office staff is some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with in my life. I would NOT recommend Pinnacle Properties to ANYONE that is looking to rent an apartment. If you are in Jeffersonville, you are better off going to Orchard Hills.

We lived at Blackiston Mill road apartments for a year. I fell down steps last November because they wouldn't clear the steps of snow and ice and when we called they said it wasn't in their budget and then November of this year my husband fell for same reason. Outside lights have not worked since January they supposedly have lights to fix them but owner won't authorize for them to do it per Bob in maintenance. We dealt with rude, threatening neighbors pinnacle would do nothing about (we aren't the first the neighbor had issues with). Our apartment was not cleaned before we moved in trash behind stove, grease running down side of stove, dishes from former tenants was left in cabinets, drawers were disgusting, paint runs in one of our bathrooms and when we talked to them about it they just said oh well. Our refrigerator door and freezer door seal has been messed up since the beginning and maintenance guy said it was our heat vent blowing the cold air not the draft coming from freezer door, our fan went out in our freezer and maintenance brought pieces of fans to try and piece one together to get it to work. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!! Robin is rude and only tells you what you want to hear not the truth

WORST Rental Properties

I lived under Pinnacle for a year in their apartments called Castleton. The apartment was very nice and we loved it but unfortunately the management was the most foul tempered people ever! All they care about is money!! Their maintenance will not fix anything so be prepared to have to fix it yourself! We moved out of our apartment and left it in perfect condition with no flaws what so ever, a month later they send us mail saying we will not be getting our $550 security deposit back due to the fact that they charged the following : $375 for repainting , $100 Cleaning fee, $100 carpet cleaning fee, $125 for new base boards, new stove top, and a drip pan! All of this stuff was not necessary, the apartment even had mold they would not fix!! So we are currently in the process of taking then to court for ALL of our money back! Never move in with them, they will screw you over!!! One of the ladies at the office even tried to fight my pregnant wife!! NEVER AGAIN!
