Avoid at All Costs

One of the worst, if not THE worst, medical device development and manufacturing companies on earth. Internal motto should be "We'll get you to prison, one shortcut at a time". They employ some of the best mid-level people in the medical device industry, but their upper management haven't the first idea about developing safe medical devices (NONE of the execs come from the industry), and they treat their employees about as poorly as can be imagined. Very high-risk and full of exaggerations and false claims to get business, they'll run your project into the ground single-handedly (literally, as they will only have one person working on your entire project, but tell you they have 40).

If you're interested in killing off patients in clinical studies and beyond, then this company and their sketchy, high-risk clients are perfect for you.

One of their most regularly-heard internal statements (from executives): "Hey, the risk to the patients isn't our cross to bear!"

If you're an engineer looking for work, here's some advice:

Your ideas? Forget them, they don't want to hear about it.

Your experience? Dump it, too, because these guys with MBAs think they know more about device engineering than you do. Even if they listen up front, they'll twist your advice into a form of negativity if it doesn't match their client timeline.

Engineering integrity? Check it at the door, because it's not a prerequisite.

Enjoy rushing and not properly documenting the project work? Send 'em your resume!
