I love Target, however this afternoon I was apparently considered a security risk. I was in the toy area, then walked to the front of the store to use the restroom. Upon my return to the toy dept., I heard the guy in electronics asking for a description to be repeated. The man on the "walkie talkie" said she just came around the corner and is wearing a "tangerine" jacket and has short brown hair. It was awful, feeling like I was being watched and viewed as a thief. There was no one else in the area with an orange coat and short brown hair, so it was me. Now I have a taste of what people of color go through in stores. They made a good customer feel bad, like I was being looked down on, and it also made me angry, AND the fact that I could hear it was terribly sloppy work.
