I've worked with Brannen on several projects. I drive to Jasper from Roswell and bypass several gunsmiths to use him. His work is always top notch.

I am the owner off Moss Firearms, LLC. I want to explain the negative review posted by terence.green.9. He was recommended to my store by a mutual friend of ours. He came to my store a few days before the Sandy Hook shooting and purchased several AR lowers. I am a small business so I had to wait for the money to hit the bank before I made the order. Sandy Hook happened and the dealer I was making the purchase from went up on the prices of their product. They offered a quantity price break that would allow me to still purchase the lowers and not lose money. It took me several weeks to save the extra cash to buy the additional receivers. By the time I went to make the order the receivers had sold out, like every other ar-15 on the planet. I did lie to Terence about the status of the order. I made a mistake and for that I lost a customer. There is no excuse for the way I acted and I apologize. I hope that my future customers will read this and know that I do not conduct business in a dishonest fashion.

I am a big fan of local businesses. A few years ago, I met Brannen Moss when he was the gunsmith at D&D. I used his services and purchased items from him there. I am a Certified Firearms Instructor and Range Safety Officer, and have broad needs for repair, modification, firearms, and parts. In addition, I places many firearms on consignment with him, and was treated fairly and honestly in every case. Brannen filled all those needs. When he opened his own shop, MOSS FIREARMS, I followed him there and have had excellent experiences with him since that shop opened. He has performed repairs, modifications, enhancements on rifles, semi-auto pistols, and more. His other sales services are great, and he has performed innumerable transfers for me, and sold me various firearms. Brannen is a wealth of knowledge on ALL firearms. He has done it all for me, including installing bottom metal on a Rem 700, brazing on a bolt on a .22LR, removing a stuck .338LM brass, repairing the safety on my Colt Delta Elite 1911, and more. His services on my other custom 1911s was particularly impressive. I highly recommend Brannen for all of your firearms needs, service/repairs, sales, transfers, and consignment. Given that he works on the firearms I shoot, you could say that I trust him with my life.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** Support our local businesses in Jasper! I take great pride in supporting local business even though I commute through 3 larger counties daily with chain stores offering better prices and larger stock. So I feel a responsibility to report those local businessmen that threaten the reputation of small town businesses that exist today because of customer loyalty and a higher standard of customer service than a chain store. On 12/18/2012 I gave Moss Firearms on hwy. 53 in Jasper, Ga. $1284.00 to make an FFL online firearms purchase only to be lied to 3 times on a continually changing delivery date for an item he NEVER ordered. Only after confronting Brennan (Bob) Moss for a written copy of the ship date from the online provider did I get a call on 1/16/2013 manning up that he lied the entire time never placing the order and his humble answer was greed. He was waiting to make a big order to reduce his cost and increase his profit. The business ethic demonstrated by this business owner should not be supported or funded through local customer support.
