The review regarding multiple contracts was from a customer who did not understand the way finance charges are calculated. we set the customer up to pay two installments towards the downpayment. When he had paid the second installment we reissued a new contract showing all of his money being applied as a downpayment instead of installments. this lowered his total finance charges by a couple of hundred dollars, but increased the imputed APR by a couple of tenths of a percent. When the customer complained we tried to explain it to him, but he could not understand. We offered to allow him to pay from the original contract, but he refused to because it cost more. We tried to help him to understand and even spoke to his father, who understood we had helped him, but could not get him to let go of the issue. As the saying goes, "No good deed goes unpunished."

I bought a truck from them and...

I bought a truck from them and soon after I purchased the truck the raditator went out in it. Called them and told them, Of course the warranty did not cover. So $400 dollars and two months later, the rearend started to go out in it. Got an estimate $1800 dollars later and now a whining power steering pump. I have decided to let them have it back. I had a monthly payment on top of all the maintence fees. Which I asked if the truck had been looked at by a mechanic they said yes, I meant a ceritifed on you know ASE ceritfied. I guess I should have clarified that.

The customer failed to mention a couple of items. The radiator was many months after he purchased the INEXPENSIVE TRUCK WITH 174k MILES COMPLETELY AS-IS. He also failed to mention we fixed the truck, paid the first $100 of the bill and financed half of the remaining balance at 0%. Finally, he failed to mention he had the truck for over a year and made us chase him down to get it rather than surrender it as he suggests. Coincidentally, the loan for the radiator was never repaid.

my name is shirley, i read a bad review, and i knew that was not true because , in the last 20 years or so i have brought at least 5 cars from this dealer ship, and they were all good cars in excellent condition.and when something went wrong they repaired what was wrong and i was on my way. to say the least on all four never gave me a minute problem. i would always give this dealership there applause. they are nice and helpful when you really need that help and a car if you know what i mean..plus if something does go wrong. they are there willing and ready to repair w3hat needed. this applause also come comes from friends of whom i recommened. hat off to allm of you at first coast. that why you have been in business so long......your car speak for you.

i bought a car from them and as soon as the short and sorry warranty ran out about a month later my head gasket blows and im stuck with the bill and not to mention i have electrical problems that the didnt tell me about so i would never come bak to them again cant wait to pay this car off

Our warranty is for 3 months or 3200 miles. We cover 100% of the cost of repairs and the customer does not have to pay for the warranty. We also give every customer a $100.00 credit for repairs that they can use at any time they own the vehicle. In this instance, the customer had the vehicle for 7 months and had put 13,800 miles on it. The reason the head gasket blew was because the customer had a water pump that was leaking and he neglected to fix it. This caused the car to overheat and he drove it until he got it hot enough to blow the gaskets. Notice he posted this complaint in the middle of summer. What he did not mention was that we fixed the car inexpensively, asked for him to pay 1/2 of the bill, and made him an interest free loan on the balance due. In this instance we tried to be part of a suitable solution for this customer, I only wish he had used his $100 credit and let us fix the water pump up front.
