I went to Dr. Bergien for a scalar cleaning. I wish I hadn't. First came the screaming woman in the adjacent room, to whom one of the assistants who should have been tending to me went to be with instead,and remained there, thus leaving me under-manned through my procedure.Even Dr. Bergien wasn't there for most of that, as during the procedure I observed him through the back window, strolling in at his convenience.

Second was that I was quoted $90 to $160 dollars per quadrant for the cleaning, but wasn't savvy enough to pin him down on the reason for the spread, I was charged the higher rate. I tried to get an explanation about the price spread but only got some nonsense about the hardness of the water that was being used on me.

Finally, Dr. Bergien let the cat out of the bag himself in conversation by telling me that since some of his dental school classmates had gone on to lucrative practices that he felt entitled to the same-- even though he had elected to come to Jackson Hole. Bah. Greed, dishonesty, and sub-par care.

This dentist is a total idiot! If considering going to Alpine Dentistry you owe yourself a favor to read the other complaints about this moron dentist. I went to him with terrible wisdom tooth pain. Roll on the floor pain. He told me wisdom tooth pain is a MYTH - no kidding, a MYTH. went twice trying to get him to remove the tooth and he tried so hard to tell me it was elsewhere and recommended a $1800 crown on a tooth i never had pain from. Jackson is full of over-charging scammers and this guy is one of them. Charged $300 over 2 visits and literally did nothing. I should have read the abundant negative reviews about him prior. My mistake, but do yoursefl the favor of reading the other complaints about this moron.
