Horrible place... they make promises they do not or cannot keep. My parent went in there and the contract is so one sided it is pathetic. My parent went in being told if they do not like it, they can move and get back their money and only be responsible for the rent due for the time they are there. They were also told they had a 5 year window to leave and get back the money. Not true. After not even a year, my parent gave notice and left. They held the refund for 5 months and required my parent to pay rent for an additional 3 months after leaving. The penalty for leaving was nearly 35,000 of the original buy in....plus, my parent made a year of rental payments totaling over 36,000! The refund on the initial buy in of 115,00 was only 82,000! They are crooks and evil people. The food stinks and they rely on people who live there to be so incapacitated that they cannot leave and do not even know that there is better living arrangements to be had. The food is awful and the maintenance to the building and grounds is minimal at best. It is far from and active adult community and is more like a rest home with a nursing facility. My parent entered with a fit mind and active lifestyle and became depressed and nearly able to function. Glad we got out when we did ...RUN away from this place... AND, read the contract as it is so unfair to the seniors it supposedly helps!!
