WORST PLACE EVER. And only thanks reception lady. Brace yourselves, this is going to be a longish negative review. I"m here to clear all the fake 5 stars this place has gotten. Someone had to speak up and this woman chose the wrong person to rub the wrong way. We've been coming here for the past 1 year and have always felt the rudeness with this reception woman. But today was just too much.
1. A month ago, she booked 2 appointments for my wife. She gave us 2 cards with the details. After walking out of the office that day, i called her to check if we could just do 1 day instead of coming 2 days. She confirmed that the 28th of December would be possible. And i promptly also received an email confirmation for the appointment on 28th that they always send out. Today was the 28th. When we walked in, she tells us that today is just 1 cavity. I"m like, we spoke on the phone and you had confirmed. Rather than being courteous and explaining the situation, this woman tells me, we're not obliged to send you email and text confirmations. And tell me that i missed the first appointment. I showed my utter disgust at this blatant lying. She clearly forgot to schedule it accordingly and just wanted to put the blame on me not remembering. When i confronted her and told her that fine, lets say i missed the appointment on the 18th, why didn't you send an email confirmation for that, and sent an email confirmation just for the 28th? She had no answer and kept saying that we're not obliged to send email/text confirmations about all appointments. WOW. Complete brainlessness. (BTW, i have documentation of the 2 cards she made, and only the 1 email we received ).
2. As if that wasn't enough, some new girl has been brought into reception. My wife went in, and there was some cognition about how many cavities there are. So i asked her if she can please get the doctor so we can clarify this. She told me that the doctor is currently busy and will come out soon. After waiting for like 20 mins, i ask where's the doctor? They tell me, the doctor has already gone ahead and stared work on cavity number 12. WHAT?! Are you guys deaf? I just told you that there's some confusion about the cavities and i want to clarify that, and you not only do that, but start work on a patient. When i got upset, she tells me that my wife is a consenting adult and she said yes. But that's not the point you silly woman! There was a clear dialogue about confusion on the cavities, you told me you're getting the doctor to clarify, and this happens!?
3. She's also biased in who she gives appointments to and when. When i asked when the next available appointment is, she told me Jan 9. Seconds later, a call came in and they apparently offered them Jan 3rd. That's interesting. I understand that different procedures take different times, but our is not a complicated procedure. It's not a root canal or an extraction. So she chooses to give appointments to whoever she pleases and likes.
4. The mind is completely elsewhere. When i asked for an invoice, i got an invoice that stated that i paid with a VISA card, when i clearly paid with an AMEX. For a lot of us, we are getting this stuff reimbursed through our companies or insurance, and small stuff like this does matter and hold up the reimbursement.
Lastly, i want to say that the 2 doctors here are LOVELY. They're professional and take great care. But this lady has ruined our experience. Even my wife came out after the treatment and asked me why this woman is so rude to us? We will never know.
She needs to fix her attitude and gain some compassion. Maybe start going to the church next door to realize how you're supposed to treat people. Very Sad. If the doctors are reading this, please know that we love you and would love to come back, but not if we have to deal with that reception lady.
