About Bibles for AmericaBibles for America ( BfA ) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to distribute free copies of the New Testament Recovery Version and Christian literature throughout the United States.Bibles for America's free literature distribution is a volunteer effort with hundreds of participants nationwide. BfA volunteers have distributed free Bibles in all 50 states.Crew members and local volunteers spent almost two weeks the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah, distributing free Bibles. The tour then went through Idaho, Oregon, and California. Nearly 4, 000 free copies of the New Testament Recovery Version and over 51, 000 Bible-offer brochures were given away.
