I have recently had a HORRIBLE experience with this bank. They have been reporting 30 day late on my credit report on-going for a few years due to late charges because I was NEVER 30 days late with the payment. I was notified yesterday by a Rozonda Curry that Independent bank has continuously reporting my account 30 days past due because of late charges. I tried to talk with several people in the collections (Alicia) and escrow area and they were so rude that I would not recommend my Dog to contact them. I finally talked with Mary from the E. Tawas area about this problem, she was going to look into this for me but was unsuccessful because the collection people where all in a meeting yesterday (2/27/09). NO one had any answers, this is unacceptable. I retrieved my paperwork (loan; consumer loan) documents and nowhere in the paperwork does it state that this is legal or something I agreed to.



This is RIDICULOUS
