I have been with Walt since he was teaching at the college and since day 1 of when he opened Cubby's. Both he and Karen are great and I have learned so much from his teachings. I also have learned some of my fusing from him. If you have any glass needs or questions, you should go talk with him. His jewelry and fused glass products are so well done. And on top of that, he has a GREAT personality.

Great shop, wonderful, creative owners Walt and Karen. I love all the unique glass pieces for sale @ reasonable prices.
Consider yourself lucky if you are able to participate in a class. Watch for all the blue bottle trees in the garden beside 41 South.

Several years ago I experienced a traumatic event that changed my life. My therpist suggested I find something to do with my time that would challenge me and keep me busy. My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas, to Cubby's for stained glass classes. When I say "It truly saved my life" I'm not kidding. It's not just the classes, but the atmosphere that you enter into when you go there. Everyone is so fun, creative and truly in tune to each other. It's like sitting around a large family table. You feel so comfortable, you feel you can do anything. I have created several pieces that now hang in a place where hundreds of people get to see them on a daily basis. Now in additon to stained glass I am branching out to fusing. I even have my own kiln. The studio is full of unique gifts for that someone in your life. Stop in and see for yourself, and you too will fall in love with the place.

If you have not been to Cubby's you need to go. I am a student and I take stained glass classes and glass fusing classes. Walt has over 30 years of experience and is a great teacher. He and his wife (Karen) do such beautiful work. I love going shopping in the studio. They are always making the unique gifts. Also I love going out to the Bottle Tree Garden. Such talent and great customer service. If you are in the area please stop by and check them out. I know you will find a special handmade gift for that someone special.

I take stained glass classes at Cubby's Art Studio and it's a unique atmosphere that you can't find anywhere else. I look forward to going to Cubby's every week! It's a fun and eclectic environment and you can work as much or as little you want, at your own pace. Walt is an incredible instructor because he allows you to use your own creativity and ideas while guiding you in the right direction. Cubby's has a unique variety of people and personalities and it makes class even more fun! Cubby's is the best studio in Citrus County and I recommend taking classes at Cubby's to everyone!!

I have been a student at Cubby's Art Studio from the time Walt opened the studio. Walt is a great teacher. I have learned a lot from him and going to class is such a pleasure. It's seeing friends each week and we have such a wonderful time. Along with learning stain glass we also are learning fusing. Walt always finds ways to make our learning fun and easy. He helps us whenever we need it. I look forward to going to class each week and seeing everyone.

I've been a student at Cubbys since it's opening and with Walt at Withlacoochie Tech Institute for a number of years.

This alone shows how great a place this is to learn stain glass and have fun too!

I started taking stained glass classes at Cubby's a year ago. I have loved my classes and have found owners Walt and Karen to be the best. After going to every glass shop within a 75 mile radius I have found that Cubby's is not only the best stained glass shop around, but the most knowledgeable. Save yourself time and trouble and go to Cubby's first. You'll find yourself a hidden treasure.

Not only do I take stained glass classes at Cubby's Art Studio, this is the only place in town that I trust to get my art supply's and advise. The owner and instructor, Walt and his right hand man his beautiful wife Karen are great people. You will always be greeted with a smile.

I received a birthday present to do some stained glass 2 years ago, and I am still taking classes. Walt (Cubby) is a great teacher who will help anyone at any time. If you never have taken a class, do try it. And the bottle trees are great, I have 2 of them.

I've been taking classes at Cubby's for quite some time and it has been a great experience! Walt (owner of Cubby's) is so knowledgeable as to what he does as an instructor. He is fair in his pricing and the way he treats his customers and students. There really is no other place I would go for classes or to purchase items needed for a project!

Cubby's is the ONLY Stained Glass Studio in the Citrus County I would go to for classes or supplies! The owners, Walt and Karen, are so helpful and they make sure you are treated fairly and always with respect! If you are looking for a specific piece of glass, Walt will find it and order it for you.

After relocating to Florida and knowing noone, I walked into CUBBYS STAINED GLASS ART STUDIO, observing the quaint rustic decor and windows filled with beautiful inspiring pieces of art, and it was then I knew I wanted to be a part of this. I briefly took up this hobby at another location but I found I knew VERY LITTLE as Cubby professionally explained every detail of making a piece of art out of stained glass. Cubby is an educator who instructs each and every one of us on our own levels of learning. I have made lifelong friends at Cubby's Studio and still learning this beautiful and poetic heirloom art that will be cherished by other's for a lifetime....
