Unscrupulous business practices!!!! Purchased the A/C tune-up deal to see if something was wrong with my central air. Technician came in after the 20 minute checkup and said, "Good news. You only need freon, but it will cost around $450". Then, 10 minutes after that, he returned to tell me that he spoke to a "senior technician" back at the office and he told him the compressor was completely shot and that I would need to get a quote from them for a new system. Being a bit skeptical of this sudden "over the phone" change in diagnosis, I called an independent HVAC technician for a second opinion. This gentleman--a true business man--told me I was just low on freon. He told me it would cost $200. The unit needed more freon than he originally quoted me but he wasn't going to charge me anything extra. I gave him an extra $50 and thanked him for saving me over $1000. I encourage you to AVOID AirTech at all costs, or at least be diligent and get another opinion.

I had an alright experience last year with them but it was a teaser offer to get them out to your house, they talked me into signing up for their "comfort squad" service for once yearly ac and furnace tune up's. Well this year I called for an appointment for the AC in June, they hung up on me, I called again and was told that they only do club member work on AC in August after the cooling season is about over! When they showed up this year, there were two of them, a regular and a trainee. After awhile they said they were done and I might have a capacitor going bad, plus I had a noisy contactor. After they left I went out the next day to see if I could hear the noise. I took off the cover and lo and behold- the main hot wire to the capacitor was hanging in mid air! I asked myself, "How could this possibly happen when the 2 service guys were just in the control box earlier?" I brushed the wire pack against the capacitor housing and it blew up and melted the wire down to the nub. Yes it was live. Then I realized that was why they said it was going out, they set me up! On top of that I opened the sides to look at the fins and they hadn't been touched! Completely full of tree crap and not cleaned out in the least. Watch out for these scam artists. I had to end up fixing the wire myself and the contactor never did make any noise.

I had this company out after 2 other companies could not fix my furnace they found my furnace getting exhaust in my house they called in 2 employees on a Saturday and installed a new furnace it works great highly recommend them a+++++++++ thanks

I called AirTech this morning because my furnace wasn't working and I have three small children at home. I was pretty excited when the gal that answered the phone told me they could be here within two hours!!



The technician made me feel very comfortable and even wore the plastic things on his shoes to save my carpet, which is far more than my husband will even do!! Anyway, the furnace was running again in no time and it was quite affordable.



I would definately use their service again and I could recommend others do the same.
