Horrible DR. Met up with him at Centinela Hospital ER. With acute abdominal pain. DR. Refused any pain management requests. The charge nurse said because Centinela deals with a lot of homeless people, they don't offer pain meds. Took 4 hours to be seen, and this DR. Came in ONE TIME and spent about 2 min with me. After a CT scan, the pain was much worse. Still, this DR. Refused to treat me. I checked out of Centinela and took an ambulance to Little Company of Mary, Torrance. I was rushed into their ER and treated immediately. He also, according to the Cheif ER DR. At little Company of Mary, mis diagnosed my complaint completely and gave me a prescription that was not appropriate for my complaint. They also immediately issued pain meds which was a big help. In short, this DR. Did not want to issue pain meds because of the demographic of the hospital location (Inglewood) and because of the many drug abusers they see. This is not a good way to practice medicine....and I'll be complaining to the AMA as well as Centinela's Administration. This man is a lousy Dr.
