I would leave no stars if I could. I actually have not used Garth for service but my neighbor has twice. Both times my neighbor utilized Garth to cut a tree down, they damaged my property, did not notify me and just left. It's difficult to get Garth to own up to the problems he causes. This last job, Wednesday, September 19th, Garth decided to use my yard and driveway for their trucks which put many ruts (the ground was quite wet after overnight heavy rain) in my yard and bare spots.. not sure why Garth didn't use the driveway and yard of my neighbor. My neighbor asked the day before if they need to come into our yard to clean up would it be ok (there was no mention of DRIVING THROUGH MY YARD). I said yes as long as they notify me first because I need to make sure the dog is in the house. Garth didn’t notify when opening my double gate, wedged the one gate open to where I had difficulty unhooking it. The other gate Garth opened too far and damaged some of my plants. Garth left without closing them. There was mud and grass clumps in my driveway. They almost broke my driveway marker. Garth damaged one corner of landscape timbers. Garth dumped the large pieces of the tree across the street in front of my house. Never heard a word from Garth. I talked to my neighbors and I had to call Garth. Finally got Garth to come over Saturday morning, September 22nd to discuss the damage to my yard. He said “sorry” and offered $40 to cover the cost of dirt and grass seed. I pointed out that there is a rather large area that needs repair and the cost of material would be at least $100. He didn’t even want to cover my time to keep the area watered. Garth called me “crazy” and left. Waiting to see if he contact me but I doubt it.

Garth is always kind, professional and generous. I will recommend him and his company to EVERYONE I know.

Called and scheduled a tree trimming in July 2014. It is now the end of November and my tree is still not trimmed. Every time I call, he ensures he will be there that week. Horrible service. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Fast, efficient and thorough! Garth's Tree Service did a great job in removing a tree and trimming back a few more! Great job at a great price!

This guy is great... not only did he cut the tree down for a great price but he ground down the stump and removed everything. It took him less than an hour and cleaned up beautifully. The whole crew was very effecient. We have had them do work for us many times and have never been disappointed.

I was quote to have my tree cut down and to cut and stack the wood, Well he cut down the tree but left it all over my yard, now I have to call someone else to cut it down so that it can be stacked. He left 3ft wide x 18 inch long stumps all over my yard. What a waste. Move my yard stuff pinic table and some other storage binds out of his way to cut the tree down, but didn't put anything back.

SNOW REMOVAL: Garth returned my call promptly and arrived on time. When I asked for an estimate, he hold me $20 for the driveway and $10 for the decks. Originally, he told me that he would only shovel up to the back of my car, but when I said that I would move the car, he said, not to worry, he would do"everything." He called me when he was half done - up to the back of my car and only the one deck (out of three). He said that he did not have time to complete the job, as he had four more pending. I paid his man, on the understanding that he would be back later to finish the driveway and the other two decks. I called him half an hour later to let him know I was moving the car and he at that time denied that he had agreed to do the entire driveway and the other two decks!! I am extremely disappointed that he did not complete what he had said he would do...$30 later and I cannot get to my garage and most of my driveway is under 12" of snow!! I would steer clear of this guy...

will not take credit cards for firewood. They didnt even offer to make an exception, they were just happy to not make a sale.
